DMCI’s Chamber Choir is an auditioned choir of 12 - 30 singers
drawn from the ranks of the DMCI Concert Choir. Chamber Choir meets one
evening per week for two hours, and sings complex repertoire from the classical
and gospel traditions. Chamber Choir has won several honours in its short
existence, including four Gold awards from the Winnipeg Music Festival, and
both the Earl Grey and Lieutenant Governor’s Trophy at the 2011 Winnipeg Music
Festival. In April 2013, the Chamber Choir will be featured in their own
Showcase Concert at the Canadian Rocky Mountain Festival in Banff, Alberta.
DMCI Chamber Choir usually takes one tour (in the spring) to a major Canadian
festival.
